5 Races for racers of all abilities

Age Groups: U8-U20

This race series is intended to be a "lower key" alternative to the Junior National Qualifier races.  We want to encourage racers of all abilities to participate in a race series that is based on fun.

Jan16th Gunnar Hagen Youth Race, Classic,  Cabin Creek, 11 AM Results

Feb 12^th Stampede, Freestyle, Cabin Creek

10AM  Results

Feb25 Plain, Freestyle with Obstacles, 11AM Results

March4th Washington Cup Final, Freestyle, Cabin Creek, 11AM Double Points! Relay to follow.  Results

How to enter: Ski in the races.  Your points will be awarded automatically.  Check back here for standings, usually updated a few days after each race.  Points awarded as follows: 

1st Place: 100 points

2nd Place: 85 points

3rd Place: 75 points

4th Place: 70 points

5th Place: 65 points

6th Place: 60 points

7th Place: 55 points

8th Place: 50 points

9th Place: 45 points

10th Place: 40 points

11th Place: 38 points

12th Place: 36 points

13th Place: 34 points

14th Place: 32 points

15th Place: 30 points

16th Place: 28 points

17th Place: 26 points

18th Place or higher: 25 points

Must participate in at least 3 races to be eligible for championship awards.

Wax: Keep it reasonable.  Non-fluoro 
and Low-fluoro are a suggestion.  

Note: Most Washington Cup Races are Free to enter!  Racers must pay to enter Ski Rodeo 5k and Stampede 5k (shorter distances free at those events).
